1. What BuildMate AI is

BuildMate AI is a confirm-first back-office assistant for small Australian trades businesses. It processes timesheets, leads, quotes, estimates, tenders, invoices and compliance records, and produces drafts you confirm before anything leaves.

2. The confirm-first rule

No irreversible or consequential action — sending money, submitting payroll, sending external communications, deleting data — is taken without an explicit confirmation by a named human in your organisation. This is a hard product invariant, not a policy.

3. Your data and your accounts

You keep ownership of the data you give us. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for the actions of team members you invite. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or Australian law.

4. Plans, credits and billing

Plans include a monthly credit allowance; extra use draws from your prepaid credit wallet. Every task shows its credit cost before it runs. Prices are shown exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. We never store your card details — payments are processed by our payment provider.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change these terms with notice; material changes to how your data is handled require fresh consent from you.

6. Liability

To the extent the Australian Consumer Law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the source information you submit.
